Argh! Boy Lacer is asleep and Girl Lacer has gone to the playground with Mr.Lacer, so what a girl needs in this rare moment of solitude is some icecream! Luckily I had some then, ready to be drizzled lovingly with the chocolate sauce I was seduced into buying yesterday. Got the vanilla Hagen Daaz from the freezer, an unopened carton from a pizza delivery where I was too stuffed with pizza to eat any icecream afterwards, but now I was ready! Now, I’m a Ben & Jerry’s girl really and don’t normally have Hagen Daaz, so I was a little unprepared when I got the carton out of the freezer, instead of the reasonably spoonable consistency of Ben & Jerrys, it was one hard, spoon unyielding, frustrating, lump of icecream! So the ultimate diet icecream, resistant against any sudden urges to rush to the freezer to get a sneaky spoonful. I had my melted chocolate sauce all ready and everything, in the end I managed to get a few chunks out, after much running of implements under hot water and oh my that M&S chocolate sauce tastes even nicer on icecream than it does on strawberries! But it wasn’t the nice big bowlful I was looking forward to. Will have to remember to get the icecream out in advance of the cravings next time.
In other news, I’m not writing what I should, i.e. my egypt story, which I’ve mentioned a few times before, I’m still stuck in trying to get into the groove of writing it again after abandoning it half way through months ago and only now deciding to pick it up again. I’ve been naughty and found myself back on the site that I said I wouldn’t go back on again and I’ve been writing some non-fiction articles on space, very interesting and I’m putting to use the lessons I learnt from last time, but it’s not writing the egypt story is it? Nor is blogging on here or endlessly checking my direct selling site to see if maybe just maybe somebody had brought something! I’ve also been just generally surfing and have come across a very cool T-shirt site, which my fingers are inching towards my credit card to go and purchase some of their merchandise, if you like T-shirt design as much as I do (and I’m obsessed) check out NerdyShirts, the two t-shirts I’m lusting after are.
