Motherhood Monday Fiction Meme – Six Sentences

Today’s Motherhood Monday Fiction Meme is about writing in six sentences. Anonymom gave us a list of randomly chosen words to choose from, this is my result.

 Zebra Hunting

The pilot jumped into the cockpit of his helicopter, as gung ho as he usually was. He’d just been eating some onion rings, so his breath was real stinky, making his passengers press back into their seats in distaste as he turned to address them,

“So where’s it going to be today ladies?”

Felicity Malone, as usual inappropriately dressed for the African Bush in capri pants and a boob tube, answered for her mother, chewing gum rhythmically and noisily as she spoke;

“Well Mr. Pilot, today Mamma and me would really like to see me some zebras.”

“Sure thing honey” replied the pilot as he lifted the throttle back on his bird and flew up into the dusky sky.

The helicopter circled the savannah looking for those zebras but no sight of hair nor stripe could be seen. Felicity elbowed her mother in the side and pointed out of the window, shouting above the noise of the helicopter blades beating the sky,

“At least we got to see papa’s fine oil fields again mamma.”
