The Devil Wears Prada
I had the misfortune of watching (most) of The Devil Wears Prada last night, it was not the movie I was expecting, ok I wasn’t expecting some deep highbrow discussion on the way how fashion magazines belittle women but I was expecting something slightly less ‘fluffy’. I guess it was the hype, the fact that Meryl Streep was in it and the title itself, I think I expected Streep’s character to be slightly more devillish (although not actually the devil herself, we’re not talking that movie). Also the movie resembled far to much the whole premise and scenario of Ugly Betty and I don’t like that TV show either.
But like I said, I did fall asleep before the end or should I say gave up and fell asleep before the end, I got to the point where Anne Hathaway’s character was in Paris and she was talking to the blonde curly haired serious journalist guy having split up with her ‘could have been slightly more supportive of his girlfriend trying to earn a living’ boyfriend. I don’t think I’m going to bother watching the rest because I can guess what happens, Anne Hathaway’s character gets it together with the serious journalist character and ends up getting a ‘proper’ journalists job as well as her new man, therefore leaving her job at Runway the magazine but not before in some way teaching Streep’s character an important moral lesson in treating her employees and the women who read the magazine, better. Am I right?

ok….the devil wears prada was one of the best movies ever made, I LOVED IT!!
it was so genius
and no thats not how it ends,
the journalist betrays her so she goes back with nate, her old boyfriend, and she quit and Miranda recommends her for another job and…she gives all the clothes she got in paris to Emily (the other assistant)….
i dont think u understood the movie….but there was nothing wrong with it
Okay, eating humble pie about what I thought the ending would be lol!
I guess it’s not my sort of movie, at the old age of 33 I’m guess I’m a bit past it’s target audience or at least it’s target demographic!
hey i loved yur movies it was great it was funny wen the new emily was been dumb
