More uniform was brought last night at the parents’ open evening, it was as always a case of sharpened elbows, which always happens everytime anything is sold at that school, but I came away arms laden; jumper, cardigan, pe kit, book bag and chair bag (which I’m going to have fun decorating). With our uniform collection now nearly complete Girl Lacer tried on her uniform this morning and she looked so sweet, not to mention small as the jumpers are a bit big!
Then this morning was a meeting at Boy Lacer’s new playgroup, the last attempt back in November was disastrous but this time things look a lot more hopeful. It’s a nicer playgroup and better staffed and they have more facilities, so that along with Boy Lacer having grown up a bit, it should hopefully be easier. The meeting today was about Boy Lacer’s needs, they were most concerned about his hyperextension but will work around that and help him build up confidence on steps and ladders. As for everything else they’d pretty much seen it all before so will be able to handle it. Whilst I was having the meeting Boy Lacer who was there was having a ball, playing with the play dough, the cars and even having a go at some painting, so good stuff!
