The Gargoyle

I wrote a lot about my thoughts on The Gargoyle in last week’s Sunday Salon post but I have just finished it now and it was a lovely book. The ending was a bit odd (particularly the chapter where the main character is going morphine cold turkey) but when the book’s about a burn patient and a psychiatric patient who believes she knew him in a previous life, it’s going to end a little odd. It was also quite sweet and romantic and I liked how the author Andrew Davidson tied all the disparate threads together.
