Scarf 2

I think my camera was having some issues with the colours!
Scarf number 2, Girl Lacer’s scarf was knitted quickly thanks to lovely thick wool and the fact that I didn’t make it so stupidly wide this time. I think I can put my hand on my heart this time and say no mistakes either, although I maybe cast on a little tightly, that’s about it.
And now for scarf 3 and as the planned three scarves have now become four, it’s Boy Lacer’s. Boy Lacer is not a scarf wearer (and to be honest I don’t think he’ll wear the scarf I started knitting him today either) but he was very attracted to Girl Lacer’s scarf as I was knitting it, scrunching it in his hand going “so soft”, so I asked him “Do you want a scarf?” and he said yes and besides, didn’t want to leave him out did I? And although I think he’d like a scarf in the same wool as Girl Lacer, I’m not going to go into town just for a ball of wool, so I’ve hit the stash of wool I’ve had since my pregnancy with him back when like a lot of pregnant women I had this great idea that I was going to learn to knit properly and make baby clothes, you know when you’re sick, knackered and your back and hips hurt if in any one position for more than five minutes, I think I managed a tiny scarf and one square of a baby blanket! So he’s going to have a stripy two shades of blue and one shade of green scarf (going to practice changing my colours), in what I’ve always considered is ‘his’ wool anyway, although it’s Debbie Bliss and from my experience with other wools now, I’m not enjoying using this particular brand so much. It was also going to be in purl to but I started knitting this afternoon when my internet was down (an incident that was 100% my fault) and I couldn’t go online to find a demystifying video on the subject, so I’m using knit stitch again.

fantastic ! What’s the wool ?
Lost the label for a moment (last seen in Girl Lacer’s hands going “Look daddy, look, see there’s a 7 there, by that cross, it means mummy has to get needles with a 7 on them” but I will report back!
