I’m trying to do Crafting 365 (on Flickr) again, I figure that if I’m going to be opening an Etsy shop that I have to craft 365 days of the year, not that I’ve done any crafting for that yet . . . It’s also easier to upload photos now as I can do it directly from my phone.
Anyway, today’s photo(s), were of some painting I did with the kids, one of the things I love about the holidays, time to get that messy!
We tried out the new paints and paint pots that we brought yesterday, usually when the kids are painting they just use an old plate or a paper plate and blob the paint on like an artist’s palette but it always ends up a brown smear. So with some heavy supervision of Boy Lacer to remind him to clean his brush between colours, the kids ended up producing some nice paintings and then afterwards tried paper towel dipping a la Doodle Do (second favourite kids’ art programme on TV, favourite has to be Mister Maker). And then after that, they just had fun making a mess.
