I’ve had this one on an embroidery hoop for a long time, in fact I took it camping with me in September, where I worked on detail on the princess. Now it’s finished I’m really pleased with it; although the pattern (which is by Follow the White Bunny - I highly recommend you visit her shop, she has some wonderful patterns) is billed as a ‘modern sampler’ ideal for trying new stitches out, but the size of the mattresses does limit you somewhat, as you can see from my disastrous attempt to do skulls (you’re probably thinking skulls? Where’s the skulls? It’s the black row). But overall I’m rather pleased with it, it will make it eventually onto a quilt for Girl Lacer.
