Appreciating
Life is a bit tricky right now but the upside of tricky is that when things, even if for a moment don’t feel so tricky, heck do you appreciate them in ways that you perhaps wouldn’t have appreciated them before. So right now I am appreciating people, who whilst only doing their job, manage to give people the strength to make changes, even if only little ones, even if the people only doing their job look about 12 and consequently make you feel very old. Right now I am appreciating people who put up with me and do the laundry so that I can go down the allotment, even if I don’t really particularly want to go down the allotment and would rather do the laundry. Right now I am appreciating this glorious sunshine and some glorious music on my ipod to go with it (now that I’ve found some headphones). And right now I am really appreciating the hard graft of the allotment and the lighter than air buzz in the step after an hour or two hard digging.
Have I been digging or have I been exploring the surface of the moon?
Is this view beautiful or is it just me?
