Moon Over Soho is the sequel to Rivers of London, which tells the story of PC Peter Grant, London’s only apprentice wizard and member of the Metropolitan Police’s magical task force, The Folly. In Moon Over Soho, Grant is on the trail of jazz vampires and someone or something that has a very intimate way of dispatching men, in a way that would make any male reader wince.
Full of the same great standard of funny one liners as in book 1 and lovingly luscious descriptions of London, I think book 1 was good but the sequel is even better as it goes straight into Grant working on a case without any of the necessary preliminary set up of the first book, I can’t wait to read book 3.
