(Ignoring the overflowing fabric shelf at the bottom of the picture and the books at the top of the picture) I sorted out some of my fabric today. I store my fabric in three groupings; scraps (less than a fat quarter), fat quarter to a metre and metre +. My scraps had been overflowing in the basket to the left (which had been kept elsewhere) and my fat quarter to a metre pieces had been loose on the shelf. So I swapped them over, putting the fat quarter to a metre pieces in the basket and roughly colour sorting the scraps into sandwich bags (the crafter’s storage best friend). A lot neater now, now for the rest of the chaos.
(Still bandaged up by the way but getting better)
