Burnt offerings

This was paprika sweet potato wedges with honey glazed bacon from Home Cooking Made Easy, I ended up over cooking it more than a little, that’s what you get when you’re trying to multi-task your lunch. It was still edible though (well, most of it) and it was nice, specially the bacon, as bacon and honey and mustard yum (I didn’t used the maple syrup specified in the recipe, after all why call the bacon honey glazed when you’re being told to use maple syrup?). The honey on the bacon went particularly well with the sweetness of the sweet potatoes, I should have added more paprika though. The creme fraiche dip was nice to.

  1. Hi
I’m looking at cooking these tonight but can’t find the flippin cooking instructions.
Do I need to peels the skins off the sweet potato? And at what stage do u add the paprika?

    1. Hi, sorry replying a bit late, it’s been a while since I made it (and not too keen to make it again) but if I remember correctly I peeled the sweet potatoes and the paprika was added before cooking, not after. Hope that helps!
