The Golem and The Djinni

The Golem and The Djinni tells the tale of a master-less Golem and a trapped Djinni in turn of the 20th century New York. The story starts fairly slowly, as the multiple strands start out separately but the pace picks up mid book and it starts getting really good. Definitely worth a read (and keeping going through the disjointed start), I particularly enjoyed it for the fact that my favourite place in New York, Bethesda Terrace, featured prominently.

**** (out of 5 stars)
