My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I liked The Rosie Effect, the sequel to The Rosie Project but not as much as I liked the original. In The Rosie Effect, Don (who probably has autism but he doesn’t want another label) and his new wife Rosie negotiate the problems arising from pregnancy. Don has a unique way of looking at things and although he does his best to try and help, Rosie is not happy. The book had it’s funny moments but nowhere near as frequent or as funny as The Rosie Project (where Don and Rosie meet). I thought the book was quite sad in a way as Rosie doesn’t react to Don I think in a particularly nice way.
