We Were Liars

We Were LiarsWe Were Liars by E. Lockhart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I found We Were Liars to be very readable. It’s narrated by a teenage girl, Cadence, who is a member of a privileged extended family that holidays each summer on a private island off Martha’s Vineyard. At first glance the family has it all but things aren’t what they seem. An accident befalls Cadence and she looses her memory of the events preceding it and she goes back to the island two years later, hoping, with the help of her friends, to try and remember more.
